This was a precarious 4th. Our first 4th away from all that we have known. So we decided if we are going to be away we were going to make a day out of it. Our plans were to go downtown get Ashley a bike, watch the parade then go to the fireworks. All the bike shops were closed and Steve had a tremendous headache. Our plans were foiled. So we set off for home. Thank goodness Rylee saved the Day. She used her $5 to buy fireworks. So there we sat in our front yard. Watching the girls play with “firecrackers.” I think it was my favorite fireworks display of all time.Thursday, July 9, 2009
