Pic Pick

As the girls get older they like being photographed less. Thus the back to school pic pick.

Denver or Bust

With only ONE car this summer we only made one trip to Denver.
We had a good excuse, the best, Max was baptized.
(Max's Blog entry to come later)

Visiting with family is what is most fulfilling.
Here is My twin Kathryn we are about to have an ice cream together "Cocroft Style."

20 Something

All dressed up 20's looking 20 something. Ouch. When Grandma Martin came to visit we went a little crazy playing dress up with Rylee.

Ashley's artwork is always happy and friendly. This piece Vera (The town art instructor) loved. She wanted to use it as inspiration for a quilt she is designing. I say GO FOR IT.

Rylee's Picaso at Pablo's

This is one of my all time favorite illustrations of Rylee's. She has a nack for visual communication and color combinations. Grandma and Grandpa Martin came out on July 25 to view artwork displayed at Pablo's Pizza from Art Camp.

This was a precarious 4th. Our first 4th away from all that we have known. So we decided if we are going to be away we were going to make a day out of it. Our plans were to go downtown get Ashley a bike, watch the parade then go to the fireworks. All the bike shops were closed and Steve had a tremendous headache. Our plans were foiled. So we set off for home. Thank goodness Rylee saved the Day. She used her $5 to buy fireworks. So there we sat in our front yard. Watching the girls play with “firecrackers.” I think it was my favorite fireworks display of all time.
